Alexandru Conu is a Romanian student in physics, popularizer of astronomy, counselor of the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy-SARM, member of the American Society of Variable Star Observers, and included in the Data Base of the International Meteor Organization observers. He has been recognized as the best Romanian young astrophotographer every year since 2002.
