Calin Niculae is a Romanian photographer and web designer with works published in Northern America, Western Europe and Japan. A popularizer of astronomy, he co-edited the Bucharest Astroclub Newsletter in 1998-2000 and published a book on solar eclipses. Author of the electronic albums Echoes Of Light and When My Eyes Were Bright, he was named laureate for astro-photo-poetry in 2001 and as "2002's astroartistic personality" at the Cosmopoetry Festival of the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy-SARM.
