Artist's rendition of brown dwarf OTS 44galaxies dissolve
into dewpoint beads of constellations
threaded through the night
but no one reaches out a finger
measures angles with eye
squinted against the bulge of
thumb to pinpoint
the dark star

untraceable by optical
telescopes it hides inside
a cool shell
withholding emissions
censoring light
enacting a position
of timelessness
that no Greek god has set
its name on
