Griffith Observatory from City HallGetchur Hollywood Star Maps here!
Step right up, see the stars
of rich historic Tinseltown.
On your left?
That's Hydra, currently invisible
behind Nick Case's tent.
On your right?
Cetus, forever occluded
by Courtney Love's light pollution.
Ahead? That's not
the Big Dipper.
More like the Big Gulp.
The handle's shadowed
by Neverland Ranch—
the ferris wheel, the sighs.
Above? What's that?
No you won't see any
stars stars in Hollywood.
In Tinseltown, a star's
judged by how much
of the heavens he obscures,
not how much light he casts.
