Hoye is 66, a retired Civil Service and Railroad Clerk, with a BA in English Literature and Criticism and a year towards a Masters in 20th Century Poetry, and over 30 Semester hours each in Music Theory and Art, (primarily Watercolors), as well as being an avid photographer, (dealing primarily with Black and white 35 mm). He has been writing poetry for over 45 years and doing songwriting, artwork and photography for over 25 years. He is a long time Science Fiction fan, particularly of those like Larry Niven, Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, and Robert Heinlein, all of whom were noted for getting their science right and their stars in the right places. He's lived in Tacoma, WA for over 40 years. |
