Stars are bright periods
In sentences of movement
Co-authored by watching eyes
And travelling light.
Eyes and light and dark
Birth tale and reader
In the immense story-hall:
Space-time.
Eyes/minds,
Dots at the other end
Of perception, hold
Strands of light, life-lines
Upon the ocean of oceans,
In which float
Their own stories—
Single letters or periods
In the galactic library, bound up
Somewhere in a sub-library
Covering conscious life.
